Lucas and I recorded SOLAR BEAR! in July 2020 during a visit of mine to San Diego, one of our first times meeting up after pandemic separation. It has a very playful attitude that I have found valuable to remember when working on new compositions. It also has a lot of vocoded vocals that we’d like to return to someday. This one was also produced by Lucas, thus they know much more about its mixing and mastering process. To my knowledge, not a lot of chopping was needed.
